Welcome to the world of Kayuragi, where fragrance "Ka" meets with slowly wafting scented smoke "Yuragi". Comfortable fragrance, where calm wafts in. Inspired by Kimono (Japanese traditional wear) fabric, the package texture is smooth, and the coloring is dramatic. Kayuragi series includes the popular Aloeswood and Sandalwood fragrances as well as 13 Japanese floral and fruity fragrances. When the incense is lit, it's smoke and aroma wafts throughout the space and brings a feeling of relief and relaxation. It is not only from the pleasant fragrance, but also from the sight of the wafting smoke which will make you feel at ease. Beautiful Kayuragi incense box contains 40 sticks of incense and a mini ceramic holder. Each incense burns about 25 minutes.

Everything about these incense sticks is fantastic. When you open the box, it's easy and beautifully presented. The sticks are perfect and fragrant, the ceramic base is simple and elegant. When burned it has a lovely woodsy aroma that is expected from sandalwood, and is strong without being overpowering. The burn time is just right for meditation and a quiet moment. Absolutely wonderful

I love sandalwood, but even I will admit that it sometimes is a little too pungent, too forward, and too heady. I have had coworkers whose sandalwood fragrance I complimented, only to feel lightheaded and overpowered some time later. sandalwood is indeed beautiful, but can be aggressively so. it is a strong and lingering scent that goes on for hours in a space, even after the wearer has gone by, and even if they have only applied a drop, as I have. I have brought home several kinds of sandalwood incense, because I enjoy it, but I often end up storing it in drawers, because it is just too strong once lit. kayuragi's sandalwood incense, though, is just perfect. it is not a fusion or a dilution, but is both beautifully perfumed, and also soft and mellow. it lingers, but not in a dizzying or intimidating way. it is warmly woodsy and musky, perfectly balanced and rounded, with a bit of a soft sweetness to it. perfect for meditative spaces, and perfect for quiet reflection and reading.

Fantastic incense, the only stuff I use for meditation, have sampled many other sandalwoods, and this is by far the best.

I had purchased Kayuragi-Sandalwood on a trip to Japan visiting one of the Shinto temples.
Was so happy to be able to purchase this back in Hawaii on-line.
Burns well and less of a smoky smell associated
with the cheaper brands.
Love this!
